Nurses say Power Naps Help Keep them Alert
Staff say the short sleeps help keep them alert.One nurse, who did not want to be named, told the Express: "I don't deny going to the office for a power nap in my own time. It refreshes you and there is less chance of dozing at the nurses' station, or making a drug error due to fatigue or, more importantly, falling asleep while driving home after a 12-hour shift.
